The chained animation “Home” was selected for Crossing Europe 2016 and many other festivals. The project was done during the fifth semester in Hagenberg by a team of about 40 students. Separated in teams of 4 people, each little group was responsible for 10 seconds of an analog animation and fitting transitions before and after the previous/next group. As the whole project is based on a poem about refugees written by one of our lecturers, it was really exciting to create an animation which highlights the spoken words. For our part of the poem we used sand, little bullets, loads of brushes and soft boxes to get the desired pictures.
